Jim Daus Hjernøe

Jim Daus Hjernøe is Professor of modern choir at the Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg and Aarhus. He is the founder and artistic director of the professional vocal ensemble Voxnorth, which specializes in modern styles, folk/world, and improvisation.He has taught at many festivals and workshops for choirs and conductors – in particular Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France and the Faroe Islands. Jim Daus Hjernøe is in charge of the many educational opportunities for modern choir leaders at the Royal Academy of Music, which includes students from many different countries, and is also artistic director for Aarhus Vocal Festival.
